Bored with Family Business?

I graduated a few years ago from a reputed University following which I joint my family business. Initially I felt it was the best decision I had ever made. However, following this I realised that the work was relatively routine and boring, and there was also little or no interaction with young people like me. It was then that I got bored like hell, and despite making lots of money, I don't seem to be satisfied or happy with my life. It may seem strange, but I felt having a job with a multinational would help me interact with more youngsters and make me feel young again. However, I would definitely loose out on the monetary side, which is an opportunity cost. Now I feel I am in a dilemma being the only son and not wanting to loose my father's confidence in me. I would like to hear from people with opinions on what I should do or those with similar experiences.
