Anyone else seein glowing men?

i was w/ some friends one night in a parked car next to a crop field that had a wood line about 50 yards away. as we were sitting there talkin we noticed a small glow, kinda like a security light on a barn, sittin on the ground just infront of the wood line. we sat there and watched it for a couple minuets before it started to grow taller and taller. it suddenly turned to the side and we could clearly see a man figure as it took off running. when "it" took of running it split into three, one went to the left one to the right and one ran straight into the woods. does anyone know what it was we saw or has anyone else seen what we have seen?
