I like to ask about SEO job?

I'm 23, male, south Indian. MY qualification is +2 ped. My level in studies is average. I like to study about SEO (search engine optimization). My dream is to become a search marketing consultant. Is it possible for me? (Asking because, as I told, I’m only average in studies.) What step should I take from now on to reach there? Is there any job opportunity for this in the west? (Canada and Europe). If so.., about the salary scale (approximate) in the west?
