Do you think Republicans would get more respect if they denounced the Iraq war.?

I understand what Republicans are saying about health care and the stimulus. But it is pretty hard to take them seriously when most of them support the war of choice in Iraq. Iraq did not attack us, nor did they have the means. Attacking Iraq certainly didn't make anyone like us better in the world. It did however cost enough money to provide health care to every American.
