HELP PLEASE! Wife is hair stylist made $13,724.25 that was 1099-MISC, now turbo tax says she owes 4K! What now

She only made 13k for the year, there has to be a way around paying 4k in tax it can't be right please help someone, we are relying on our tax return that went from 4,400.00 down to nothing what can I do? Married filing jointly with a new baby.
