For show exhibitors, why is there so much bickering in the dog show world?

I have shown in the breed ring for 15 yrs, and you are right, there is a lot of that. I have also been in the agility ring for 10 yrs, and there is the same amount of jealousy, bickering, and total BS. You've been lucky to not run into it, but it is still there. There may not be the bribery accusations, but there is the that dog should not have earned that title before mine. The judge didn't call the contact because that's her friend, so there is still the same BS in the agility ring. I just recently had to have someone reported to the AKC because of unsportsman like conduct. I am also on the trial committee for a large upcoming trial. There are always incidents between exhibitors that get reported. I'm sure you will eventually run into it.
