Do you work with someone irritating?

i work in an elementary school. we have an after school program through the boys and girls club. they are not school employees, but use our site and facilities. the new gal incharge cameto meetme (the librarian) and pretty much laid out what she willneed fromme. she seemed very in tune with 'how to act professional'. we are a very relaxed school. she had a clipboard and after awhile, i realized she wasn'ttrying to learn anything. she was trying to look important. that i can tolerate, especially since she's so young. but then she seemed condescending...... like when i mentioned the b&g club "teachers" that will be handling cles afterschool, she was quick to correct me. "oh, we don't call them teachers since they are not credentialed. you may call them miss lynette and mr. robert". this was a bit hard to take in my office from a young gal that doesn't even work there, really. it wouldn't be a big deal except that this is day one of our semester. i will try to be nicer...
